I like the small class size concept here. Prior to attending tuition in this academy, I was in another tuition centre that has 12 students in it. Owing to the big class size, I was not able to raise my concern, least said having my doubts answered. At Kim & You Academy, I have improved tremendously, scoring near full marks for every of my examination. I truly appreciate the patient, brilliant and kind educators here.

My experience in Kim & You Academy started in year 2014 and my parents have since then entrusted me to them. The educators here are professional, kind and very nice to every one of us. The fondest moments have been those where my teachers and I discussed the many happenings outside of the classroom. Coming from a non-Chinese speaking family background, learning Chinese characters had always been a struggle. I had been to other Chinese learning centres, but none are comparable to Kim & You Academy! The educators here use interactive games to make us interested in learning the subjects. Most importantly, they are so approachable that I never have to hold back when I run into doubts during lesson. I like the camps which they conduct annually. It allows me to mingle with my friends and establish stronger relationship with the educators here!

I joined Kim & You Academy since I was in Primary 5 – it has been 2 years and still counting! I like learning here because the educators are able to tailor the lesson to every individual need. Concepts are reinforced by the educators here through hands-on experiments and short quizzes. The educators also teach us keywords for open-ended questions so that we will not lose marks in tests and exams. Overall, I feel that this academy is like my second home. I feel comfortable raising questions and had scored exceedingly well for my PSLE!

The educators are patient, kind and are constantly going the extra mile to help me in my studies. I never feel stress in this academy because the educators recognise my tiniest improvement which I have made from one class to another. Besides that, the small class size also enables me to focus and gets sufficient attention. I have improved from a ‘U’ grade to a grade B for PSLE!

The educators are knowledgeable and have a sense of humour. There is never a lesson without laugher ever since I started my tuition here! In comparison with other learning centres which I had attended before, I prefer here more as the educators here are are passionate, approachable, patient and they always customise worksheets for areas which I am weaker in to help me understand the challenging concepts. The subject which I enjoy most here is Science because there are handson experiments for us to visualise the challenging concepts into bite size. The science teacher has let me understand that Science is around us everywhere!

I have been going to Kim & You Academy for my English tuition since Primary 3. I like the environment here and the patience that the teachers have shown. Lessons are fun and are taught in an interesting way which make me look forward to my lesson every week. Class size is small where teacher can focus more on my strength and weakness. Monthly feedback about my study progress is also given by the teacher. I can see improvement in my English writing and comprehension quite substantially. Thank you so much for all the help!

I have been with Kim & You Academy since Primary 2, and I like how the teachers teach. The teachers are tactful yet firm. They always make sure we understand their teachings instead of going through the motion. During the lesson, the teachers will also relate his teachings to daily life examples so that it won’t be as dull. I like the small class size and I am delighted that the Academy is fully loaded with books where I can read and borrow books from.

I have been having tuition here since Primary 1 and managed to consistently get AL1 for my Mathematics. My PSLE grade for Mathematics was AL1 and I am grateful towards the teachers for that. The reason why I enjoy learning here is because the teachers are very kind and positive. They always believe in unleashing the fullest potential in me. The materials customised by Kim & You Academy is also challenging enough to keep me excited. Besides that, they also use different pedagogy, not a one-size-fit-all method, to inculcate difficult concepts into me. I enjoy learning here despite travelling far distance from school to here!

I have been in Kim & You Academy since Secondary 1. The teachers here are excellent in teaching and can explain the syllabus in a succinct and precise manner. Classes conducted here are very fruitful and well-paced. I started with Kim & You Academy since Secondary 2 and came in with a carefree mindset hoping to just pass my examinations. However, ever since I started my secondary life journey here, I realised over the years that having an inquisitive mindset would allow me to excel beyond just passing my examinations. The teachers here have immensely helped me to develop a positive mindset towards learning and always encourage me to step out of my comfort zone to further strive harder in my studies. For example, in one of the lessons, one of my teachers shared life experiences with me which allowed me to think more seriously about life after secondary school and how my decisions now would affect my future growth even beyond the academic space. Coming back to where I am now, all the above that I had described changed my mindset and perspective about learning. My experience in Kim & You Academy has been enjoyable! Before attending lessons here, I used to dread and fear biology and was afraid that I could not score well for biology in O-level. But within a short span of 3 months of studying here, my prelim results flew from an E8 to an A2. Kim & You academy has made learning biology fun and and interesting. Now biology is my favourite subject among all three sciences!
